Indie hit TerraTech gets its official release on 10th August on PC and Xbox One with PlayStation 4 owners being able to get their hands on the game on 14th August. Prices will be £19.99, $24.99 and €24.99 depending on what region you dwell in.
TerraTech launches in Early Access back in 2015, and has since rounded up over 400,000 players over on Steam. With these numbers, Payload Studios have been able to bring their game to console owners and allowing them to get involved in the sandbox, physics-based builder. Consoles will see a host of improvements and additions including a totally overhauled UI and control system to make using a controller more fluid and building more simplified to provide the full experience.
On launch, Xbox and PlayStation versions of TerraTech will have several game modes available to them. Here’s the low down:
Campaign and Creative, which are going to be fairly straightforward so we don’t need to explain these just yet. Gauntlet Mode which will see you taking part in Time Trial racing, and finally PvP Multiplayer. Additionally, PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live members will be offered a unique skin pack for in-game corporations to use in Multiplayer. PlayStation owners will receive the Centure Cobalt Pack and Xbox owners will be able to snag the Hawkeye Camo skin. This free and exclusive DLC will be only be available for one month after launch date.
TerraTech is an open-world sandbox adventure game, where you design and build your own creations through a mix of crafting, combat and adventure.
Explore, build, craft and battle on alien worlds as you design cars, planes and tanks from a huge selection of blocks as you embark on a Campaign, tinker in creative, or do battle in Multiplayer. Scavenge, buy or even craft new parts to be able to survive and become the elite planetary prospector. Show you creations off to friends or engage in battle, the choice is yours.
